S. Giorgio 10 chiusino di Michele di Bartolomeo di Chele
1502 to circa 1808 (date is approximate)

Notes

  • [a] The Ceramelli Papiani archive describes a coat of arms belonging to the Baccioni family of Santo Spirito Scala that are similar to those drawn by Francesco della Foresta and Stefano Rosselli for the 1502 altar of Michele di Bartolomeo di Chele. Inexplicably, the ASFi Rosselli copyist reversed the shading of the arms.
  • [b] Michele di Bartolomeo di Chele installed a tomb in this parish church in 1502.
