[a] If his birthday is September 29 as recorded in tratte, then 65 years, 6 months, and eight days puts him at April 6.

[c] Santa Croce accounts (ASF, Conv. Soppr. 92, 297) record that Giovanni made an annual bequest of wine and bread for the celebration in October of the feast of St. Cecilia, a promise reiterated in testament of 1445. He was buried at foot of chapel in 1455.
[d] According to Weddle (134), though he had declared intention to be buried in his tomb at foot of Le Murate's main altar, convent's chronicle and burial records confirm that he was buried instead in north transept of S. Croce under the tomb slab with effigy installed there.
