Posterisq: poss: Vix: Annos 61. mens. 4. dies 25. Obiit 1583. 5 Kal. Junij. For Domenico Bonsi, judge and senator, son of Roberto, grandson of Domenico judge. Auditor of Cosimo and Francesco Grand Dukes of Tuscany, and presiding member of the military Order of Saint Stephen. His sons placed this tomb for their most deserving father and for his descendants. He lived 61 years, 4 months and 25 days. He died on the fifth kalends of June (May 28th), 1583.
