  • [a] The sepoltuari report that the Larioni arms, in use since 1452 when a branch of the Bardi broke off with the new surname were on the front of the altar while the Bardi arms with the rose appeared on the altarpiece.
  • [b] The front of the altar was adorned with Larioni arms, used by Ilarione di Lipaccio Bardi's son Lorenzo and nephew Alessandro d'Andrea after formally changing their surname and arms on August 23rd, 1452.
  • [c] The Carte Mariani Dei report that Ilarione Bardi left money to found an altar in his testament of 1421.
