  • [a] Described by Rosselli only as a "monumento" in the third row of the east loggia, it is difficult to know whether the surviving stone, now installed in the east wall of the cloister, was the Lapi grave's cover or a marker in the wall. The breakage and the position of the tomb in the third row suggest it was in the floor, but the lack of wear suggests it was in the wall, though the letters may have been recut.
