  • [a] Stefano Rosselli notes an unspecified number of communal parish tombs in the church piazza, including "alcuni pochi" (a few), which were set aside for those who died in the nearby Stinche prison. These were marked with a triangle consisting of what appears to be three linked metal bars.
  • [b] Rosselli noted the decoration only as a symbol (segno) and drew three bars joined together with rings.
