  • [a] The tomb is described in an anonymous, likely late-sixteenth-century sepoltuario as very old (molto antica), and it had a prime spot in the middle of the church, below the chancel steps, in line with the high altar.
  • [b] The Piaciti tomb is described by Rosselli as to the west of the Frescobaldi slab, "turning toward the [main] door in the middle of the church after the little stairs."
