Notes

  • [a] Stefano Rosselli records that the altar carried a pair of shields with the del Rosso arms impaled with the Segni and another with the Carnesecchi representing the marriages of the brothers and altar patrons Andrea and Rosso d'Antonio del Rosso.
  • [b] The inscription on the tomb reads 1616, but according to CEI it was installed in the first few months of 1617, still 1616 according to the old-style Florentine calendar.
  • [c] The Morosini altar was to the left of the del Rosso altar past the side door of the church.
