Notes

  • [a] Rosselli described the altar as on the side of the church towards the street, that is, the church's left, or north, wall
  • [b] Rosselli describes this altar as along the left wall between the piccolo Altare di Madonna and the church's side door.
  • [c] Rosselli describes the tomb as near to (vicino alla) the church's side door, which was on the left, or north, side of the church.
  • [d] Stefano Rosselli describes this tomb as in the wall to the left of the main church door when facing said door.
  • [e] Stefano Rosselli describes this unmarked chiusino as at the foot of the similarly unmarked wall tomb to the left of the main door. Presumably the two items, though catalogued separately by Rosselli, comprised a single monument with the wall element serving as a cenotaph for the marked burial space below.
  • [f] Described as under the grates of the nuns' choir, it seems most likely that this inscription plaque was in a wall, but not entirely clear where.
