Notes

  • [a] Stefano Rosselli believed, but was not sure, that the Giunti arms were on the chapel to the left of the high altar. Giuseppe Richa reported that the chapel was built by Mariotto de'Giunti in 1427, but that its patronage had returned to the church by the early eighteenth century.
  • [b] The Torrigiani-sponsored church renovation included repaving of the floor in 1720, which is likely when the inscription from this tomb was installed in the building's facade.
