Notes

  • [a] The Priorista Mariani cites the Rustichelli crypt tomb as evidence for their coat of arms, though whether they remained on the monument after its transfer to the Raugi family is not known.
  • [b] A tree kept among the Passerini files notes that M. Giovanni was buried in Santa Croce on March 15th, 1324, but it is not clear whether this is according to the old style Florentine or modern calendar.
  • [c] The tomb was dedicated by Francesco's father for himself and his sons, making Francesco's burial in it highly likely.
  • [d] The 1439 sepoltuario makes no mention of Raugi ownership, but the tomb's transfer to Sandro Raugi was noted in a book dated 1441 as recorded by the 1596 and 1657 sepoltuari.
