S. Michele Visdomini

The original church of San Michele Visdomini was located near the houses of the Visdomini family from the late 11th century. It was named as one of 36 parrocchie among the original 48 parishes established at the start of the commune, but it was demolished to make way for the tribune of the new cathedral. The community was moved in 1364 a block northeast to a new building on the corner of via dei Servi and via Bufalini where it stands today.
