This family descended from Masino di Ceffo di Cosa, and members appear in the documents with the surname Masini, Ceffi, or none at all. Given that the brothers Puccio and Ceffo di Bonacosa ("Cosa") are the first to appear in the sepoltuari with a tomb, we have decided to use the surname Ceffi of all the options.
D'oro, al grugno di cinghiale di rosso, difeso d'argento.
