Rosselli indexed two tombs under the surname Mangieri, one in San Frediano whose arms were too ruined to read, the other in Santo Stefano al Ponte showing three bulls' heads facing forward. Though the evidence is circumstantial, these two memorials are grouped as belonging to the same family, not to be confused with another Mangieri family active in the fourteenth century and documented in the Priorista Mariani and resident in the Santa Croce quarter.
