While the Priorista Mariani distinguishes the family of ser Brunetto Latini associated with the sesto Duomo (Drago) and the Latini in the S. Maria Novella quarter (Lion Bianco), the similarity of their arms and unification in the Ceramelli Papiani archive suggest that they were indeed the same clan.
