Notes

  • [a] Stefano Rosselli indexed the tomb of Lorenzo d'Antonio as Lotti in S. Paolo, distinct from Lotti Antichi, which may mean he belonged to a separate lineage.
  • [b] The copy of the 1596 sepoltuario and Stefano Rosselli both surmise that the Biagio di Lotto (Blasii Lotti) honored on a tomb in the cemetery of Santa Croce belonged to the Lotti. However, given that the family lived in another district and had tombs elsewhere, more evidence is needed to confirm whether Biagio and the tomb belong to this lineage.
  • [c] No coat of arms was recorded for this tomb, and it may have belonged to a different lineage that used the name Lotti. Rosselli indexed the tomb as Lotti in S. Paolo, distinct from Lotti Antichi.
