The Gherardo di Lamberto Cenci cited as owning a tomb in the north cemetery at Santa Croce is surely the Gherarduccio di Lamberto Cenci listed for two damaged properties in the Liber extimationum of 1269. Given that one Florentine neighbor (Spinello di Baldovino del Mula) listed his father and another (the sons of Donzello Sacchetti), the heirs of Lamberto, it seems likely that Lamberto had not been dead long at the compilation of the book of estimates. The two Cenci properties, one in the parish of S. Apollinare, and another in the countryside, were listed as the property of the brothers Tile, Gherarduccio, and Bate, sons of the late Lamberto Cenci (Domum magnam...Tile, Gherarducci, et Bate fratrum et filiorum quondam Lamberti Cenci).
