[a] As Filippino received no additional payments from the Strozzi after 22 March 1502, Eve Borsook has concluded that the frescoes were surely done by this point. A building in his mural depicting the Raising of Drusiana carries the date 1501. [b] The fresco painted between the stained glass window and arch of Benedetto da Maiano's tomb should be considered part of Filippo Strozzi's tomb given the subject matter of angels standing on and holding human skulls and bones on either side of a fictive niche filled with more skulls behind a fictive plaque reading: NI / HANC / DESPEXERIS / VIVES.
