[a] According to the Priorista Mariani, Bartolomeo married Pippa di Ristoro di Giovanni speziale in 1442.
[b] Bartolomeo di ser Piero Nuti was dead when his name was pulled for guild consul on August 26th, 1471.
[c] Bartolomeo di ser Piero Nuti appeared in tratte records as an oil dealer (oliandolus) between 1435 and 1467. The Priorista Mariani refers to Bartolomeo as both oliandolus and speziale, noting that he matriculated in an unspecified guild in 1436. While there was a Bartolomeo di Ser Piero who served as guild consul for the Arte Medici e Speziali four times between 1402 and 1410, this seems to be a different person from the member of the Nuti family who is consistently named as an oil dealer from 1435 through 1467 in election records.
