  • [a] The Badia's Libro dei defunti notes that the wife of Agnolo Doni aged about 50, that is, Maddalena, was buried on December 22nd, 1540 in the Doni family tomb after her initial entombment in one of the monastery's deposits, since they had been banned from burying anyone for a period of time while under interdict, the last burial before hers was that of Cornelio di Giovanbatista Doni on August 5th, 1540.
