Malegonelle, Guidobono di Lotterio di Malagonnella

Description

Confusion in the family tree kept in the Carte Mariani Dei provides conflicting accounts of Guidobono. One suggests he was the grandfather of first cousins Guido and Gherardino, father's name unknown. The other suggests he was only father to Gherardino, uncle to Guido, and the son of Lotterio di Malagonnella. This descent is further confirmed by a notation of "Guido filius Luctierij Malegonnelle" from records pertaining to the Battle of Arbia in 1260 as reported in the Priorista Mariani.
