  • [a] After taking possession of patronage rights to the Boscoli chapel and related tomb at the foot of its steps in the left aisle, the Lenzoni family began to bury their dead in the grave that carried Boscoli arms and an inscription honoring the sons of Giachinotto Boscoli. It remains unclear whether the Lenzoni ever added their arms or removed those of the Boscoli before all tombs were removed and replaced in 1666. The family opted for a new tomb in the renovated church and continued to use it until at least 1729.
