  • [a] A tomb belonging to the sons of Lizio di Guidalotto appears only in the S. Croce 1439 sepoltuario, listed in the section of older pages dated 1298. While we assume that it had a marker bearing his name, it is possible that it remained undecorated prior to its transfer to the Doffi family, as recorded in a lost sepoltuario dated 1441, but recorded in the 1596 and later registers.
