Notes

  • [a] Between the compilation of the 1439 sepoltuario and another dated 1442, a tomb belonging to the Antinori was conceded to the Bellacci. The new owners decided to adorn it with the name of the family's first prior, Bellaccio di Puccio, who was active in the mid-fourteenth century, presumably to make the memorial appear older than it was. It is possible that the marker was an older monument moved to this position, but it seems more likely that its adornment coincided with their acquisition of a family chapel in the transept around the same time.
  • [b] According to note in the Passerini files, the notarization of Bellaccio's marriage to Tessa di Bartolo named him as living in this parish.
