To God, and to Lady Virgin Mary Mother of God, Assumed into Heaven. Giovanni son of Cardinal Agnolo of the Niccolini family, himself had this chapel constructed and decorated faithfully, dedicated in the one thousand five hundred and eighty-fifth year from the birth of God by the pair.
