Translation

To God, most good, most great. Niccolò Pieri a one hundred-eyed Argus in watchful prudence, a heaven-bearing Atlas in arduous control, here finally by the inescapable fate of nature, and the corrosive weapons of death, the Prior and Archpresbyter laid. In the year of our Lord 1641, at age 55.
