Translation

Piero Carnesecchi, Florentine Canon, commanded that he should be buried in this ancient tomb of the Sermanni, in which both his parents and brothers had been buried, and that it should be sealed. He died on the third day of November 1634. The Florentine chapter, heir, took care that this be set up according to his testament.
