Translation

To Saint Romulus, bishop and martyr, to whom the guilds came to make their offerings, the people erected a temple in the tenth century, here, where now stand the houses built by Francesco di Piero Bombicci in the year 1786. Count Cesare Enrico Bombicci Pontelli placed this as a memorial in 1896.
