Translation

To God, best and greatest. Gherardo and his brothers Andreini, after the old tomb placed before the doors of the church in the year 1275 had been demolished, transferred here the bones of Bartolomeo, their excellent father, and the remains of their ancestors, and established this for themselves and their descendants. In the year of the Lord 1592.
