Notes

  • [a] The oldest sepoltuario from Santa Croce dated 1439 clearly notes the tomb belonged to "S. heredū bindi de albizzis 9 descēdetiū, but all subsequent versions give the ancestor's name as Lando, not Bindo. The sources also do not make clear if the record in the 1439 sepoltuario merely records ownership or the original inscription. Given that later sepoltuari indicate the tomb passed to Antonio di Lorenzo di Lando degl'Albizzi, it seem that the "Bindo" was an error in the original, and that the tomb was set up for heirs of Lando d'Albizo Albizzi in 1333.
