  • [a] Stefano Rosselli reported that the tomb slab was quite magnificent (assai magnifico).
  • [b] Rosselli reports that while the altar carried del Rosso arms impaled with other families, the tomb carried the del Rosso arms alone.
  • [c] According to CEI, the monument was installed in the first months of 1617, or 1616 according to the old-style Florentine calendar as inscribed on the tomb.
  • [d] Verginia's husband included her birth family's arms on the altar and tomb he and his brother commissioned in 1616/17.
