  • [a] The Barducci Cherichini chapel and tomb were next to the high altar on its right-hand, or south, side.
  • [b] It is not clear in the sepoltuari whether this tomb was at the foot of the altar inside the chapel or at the foot of the chapel in the transept floor. The description of the Sassolini and Cigoli-Dati tombs as next to each other, and the latter as at the foot of the Barducci tomb suggests that the latter was also in the transept.
