[a] According to the sepoltuario of 1596, a book dated 1441 recorded that no one held claim to the tomb and that it was given over to the house of messer Agnolo Acciaioli.
[b] Some sources indicate that the tomb may have carried an inscription identifying the tomb as belonging to the sons of Manetto di Bentaccorda, while others specify Lapino's brother Deo.
[c] While the sepoltuario of 1439 indicates the tomb belonged to Deo di Manetto di Bentaccorda, other records suggest the inscription (and/or ownership) belonged to all the sons of Manetto.
