Notes

  • [a] Pines (376) describes the marble as black while Iacopino (348) identifies as verde di Prato
  • [b] Tommaso Spinelli purchased sole rights to the Chapel of the Assumption on 19 July 1460. Given that his tomb carries the date 1453, he must have received rights to the Tolosini's grave plots prior to that year, but after 1439 given that the sepoltuario does not mention the Spinelli at the Tolosini entry.
  • [c] the 1439/1440 S. Croce sepoltuario lists the tomb as belonging to Tolosini; it is not recorded as belonging to Tommaso Spinelli until 1596, but the tomb is dated 1453 in its inscription and Spinelli dies in 1471
  • [d] unknown end date
