  • [a] The tomb of Messer Covone Covoni was initially installed in the lower cemetery along the north side of the friary, an area demolished with the foundation and construction of the Salviati chapel beginning in 1446. The Covoni tomb was moved further north along the exterior of the adjacent Bardi chapel.
