  • [a] The last burial of the Bartoli was that of Benedetto di Geri Bartoli, who took his family's coat of arms with him into the grave. After that time and before Sermartelli compiled his sepoltuario in 1617, the tomb passed to the Tieri family.
  • [b] According to Stefano Rosselli, Benedetto di Geri was the last in the family line and carried their coat of arms with him into his grave in 1614.
