[a] Oretta was certainly buried in Santa Maria Novella, as attested by a Libro dei Morti kept by the nuns of Sant'Ambrogio (ASFi, CRS, 79, 459, fol. 123). Whether she was buried in this tomb dedicated to her father-in-law or another Gaddi or Guasconi tomb in the church is not presently known.
