  • [a] Stefano Rosselli notes that in 1658 this tomb was found in a room along the wall of the church (in una stanza, che รจ lungo il muro della medesima Chiesa), a vague description that raises more questions than it answers. We are not sure whether the tomb was moved to this otherwise unidentified space or was originally installed here, nor whether it was newly discovered through excavation or renovation, or simply new to Rosselli.
