1726 Hic iacet Corpus Caroccii F. D. Jacobi de Albertis Militis Florentini, qui obiit Palermo die 7 September 1371. Latus fuit huc die 7 Febr. 1373 cuius Anima requiescat in pace. Here lies the body of Caroccio son of messer Jacopo from the Alberti family, Florentine knight, who died at Palermo on the seventh day of September 1371. He was laid here on the seventh day of February 1374 [n.s.], whose soul may rest in peace.
