  • [a] Cammilla Capponi ordered the construction of an altar dedicated to the rosary in Santa Maria Novella in her testament. She died in 1568. This altar covered Masaccio's Trinity and has since been removed.
  • [b] Cammilla installed a tomb for herself in 1555. On it she named her birth family and her status as a widow. She did not include reference to any of her three husbands.
