Carmine 158 Francesco di Vanni orafo:

Notes

  • [a] The ASFi copy of Stefano Rosselli's sepoltuario inadvertently swapped his entries 157 and 158 while leaving the coats of arms with their correct numeration. The autograph no. 157 refers to the tomb of Lapo di Strada, whose coat of arms carried a rampant lion.
  • [b] This tomb remains in the cloister where Stefano Rosselli described it, but the Carmine's Libro dei Padronati recounts that it was in a wing of the church (ala della Chiesa) before being moved to the cloister that was rebuilt at the turn of the seventeenth century.
