  • [b] the installation of this tomb may have coincided with Bonaccorso's entry into politics; he was first put into the sortition bags in 1381
  • [c] Goro Dati records that she was buried in the church the morning after her death, presumably in the Berardi cloister tomb
  • [d] these two tombs appear to honor the same man, and it seems likely that Bonaccorso himself set up the cloister tomb while his children or later descendants supplied the nave tomb; given the lack of specificity on the date of death, an installation in the later fifteenth or sixteenth century is likely
