[a] Abbot Vincenzo Trinci commissioned his own sepulchral monument on June 20th, 1489, contracting it to be completed within six months. The inscription carries his date of death, raising the possibility that it was not completed until afterwards or that the inscription had been left open to be completed after his burial.
