Notes

  • [a] Sharon Strocchia (127) describes several Ciurianni family funerals and burials in "their family tomb" at S. Stefano al Ponte. A ricordanza written by Valorino di Barna Ciurianni notes a women's tomb, suggesting that the family had two, segregated by gender. The sepoltuari do not seem to record any tombs for the family in this church, but it is highly possible that they were conceded to another family once the Ciurianni died out. Strocchia cites ASFi, Manoscritti, 77 (Vari di Casa Ciuriani), fols. 8v, 21v, 24v, 27r, 37v. The Ricordanza cna be found in Passerini.
