  • [a] It is not known when the Carcherelli obtained rights to the high altar, but the altarpiece displaying their arms was documented by Francesco della Foresta in 1606 and 1609. In 1655, Stefano Rosselli noted that their arms had been removed to a spot near the church's side door, the result of the complete renovation of the church by the Sacchetti family.
