Two seventeenth century families shared similar names and coats of arms which have been conflated, it seems, in the Ceramelli Papiani archive under the name Bosi. For more on the confusing history of the Bosi da Legnaia and the Bogi of Florence, see Enrica Boldoni's Uno stemma come indizio (Signa, 2012) and the essay by Giampaolo Trotta posted to "Storia" section on the website of the parish of Sant'Angelo a Legnaia.
