Notes
[a] Stefano Rosselli did not know the name of the confraternity that originally owned the altar on the north side of the church near the main entrance, only that they gathered in piazza Sant'Ambrogio. This was likely the Compagnia di S. Maria della Neve, which was associated with the church and had a communal tomb for female members nearby.
