Notes

  • [a] Giovanni di Cante Ammannati pizzicagnuolo was elected from the Chiavi district of San Giovanni quarter on April 28th, 1372.
  • [b] Given that the tomb of his father and his uncle was reserved for their children, it is highly likely that Giovanni di Cante Ammannati was buried in it. Gravedigger records would confirm both his date of death and burial place if he died in a year from which records still survive. He died after 1381 but before mid 1390.
  • [c] Though his father was associated with the parish of San Jacopo tra le Fosse, Giovanni di Cante was elected to office from San Giovanni Chiavi
