The Florentine merchant Taddeo di Girolamo Ducci, despite inheriting rights to two tombs in Florence, requested that his heirs establish a tomb for him in the Carmine of Pisa, which they did in 1586, as stated on his tomb. Family trees in the carte Pucci indicate neither wife nor issue, and responsibility for the tomb likely fell to his brother Francesco, through whom the family line continued into at least the eighteenth century. His testament, if it still exists, would confirm more details about the identity of his heirs.
