  • [a] Stefano Rosselli's copy of the Santa Maria Novella necrology indicates she died on June 8th, 1340 but the ASFi copy puts her under June 9th. Consultation with the original could clarify the date of death and whether her father-in-law's name was Dino, as recorded by Rosselli, or Vanni, as is more likely given the dal Canto tomb was dedicated by Agnolo di Vanni dal Canto.
  • [b] The Santa Maria Necrology records donna Ghilla's death, though gives her father-in-law's name as Dino instead of Vanni. Presumably she was buried in the dal Canto tomb.
  • [c] The Santa Maria Novella necrology lists donna Ghilla's parish as San Lorenzo at her death in June 1340.
